This morning I woke up determined to finally bake Spritz (my favorite Christmas cookie). Hubby headed out with Missy to get some last min. things, grocery's, and dog food. Little Buddy and I started baking. I decided to pull out my grandma's cookie press. I was a bit nervous I have never used her's, the last thing I wanted to do was break it. Buddy and I made the dough and pulled the press out. Under neath the press was the best Christmas Gift....her actual recipe, dirty and well loved in her own handwritting. My grandmother hasn't passed away but she is unable to bake and do the things she use to. It meant so much to make this little discovery.
